Some of my thoughts about music:

Music is a very complex experience for me. I feel if I know a tiny part of it. If we consider the capability of the great classical composers and determining musical innovators and what kind of knowledge they possessed, surely it is shocking. I know that many musicians feel frustrated because they are given less talent or cannot be compared with these great forefathers. Even if I only look at the big jazz giants... In my opinion, music is not a competition. Everyone has their own place in it, depending on how much talent and diligence they are given.

Playing music is like to seek joy in my soul. I give my best when I play in a group: being part of and being connected to a team is inspiring for me. Even my choice of instrument proves that my primary interest is to play in a band. When I play, I try to give something from myself to my fellow musicians, and I search for those who feel the same way about playing together. If the band is coherent and connected, every time we create music it's a joyful event for the audience and the musicians.

I am very grateful that I have had chance to play with many outstanding musicians. Here are a few quotes.
